Service Description

Pastoral care is centered around not only the spiritual need of the individual or couple but also considers their physical, mental and emotional entities. The pastoral counsellor incorporates faith, spirituality and study of God's word in the therapeutic process, providing spiritual direction to help clients cope with the demands/stressors in their environment. Apart from counselling and psychotherapy, spiritual formation using Scripture will be explored on a one-to-one level. We explore different methods of study which involve a reflective and meditative reading of Scripture to enhance knowledge of God and deepen communion with him with the goal of attaining holiness, humility and union with his Holy Spirit.
